Class Descriptions
Floor Barre
This all-levels class is open to beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers, as well as anyone looking to build physical capacity. The work centers on muscular strength, flexibility, posture, proprioceptive awareness, and breath.
Inspired by classical barre exercises, floor work refines placement and deepens body work before translating it to a standing position.
Street Jazz
Street jazz draws from jazz, hip-hop, and stage repertoire. The class works on musicality, attitude, precision, presence, and body movement.
Each session follows a clear structure: warm-up, choreographic learning, and cool-down stretches. Open to men and women, from beginner to advanced.
Modern Jazz
Modern jazz blends technique, rhythm, and imagination. Sessions typically begin with a full warm-up, followed by technical work and a choreography.
Core themes include rhythm, discipline, flexibility, coordination, and interpretation.
Children’s Classes
Children’s classes build self-confidence and trust in others through playful exercises. They encourage discovery of the physical and social environment, mutual respect, and body awareness.
The introduction to classical technique lays the foundations of ballet: placement, muscular engagement, proprioceptive awareness, and body protection.
Salsa
Salsa was born from the blending of many musical styles and cultures. Today it unites dancers worldwide across several traditions, including Cuban, Puerto Rican, and Colombian salsa.
Bachata
Originating in the Dominican Republic, bachata exists as both music and dance. Its evolution has produced several styles, from Dominican bachata to modern and sensual bachata, influenced by Puerto Rican salsa and Brazilian zouk.
